This paper contains the following subjects; a) a description of the telemetry set operating in Arcetri (Florence, Italy) in order to record the measurements of solar X and UV radiation, via satellite:
b) the values of solar flux at 44–60 Å during the period March-April 1964, as deduced by telemetry of NRL 1964–01 D satellite:
c) a typical example of atmospheric absorption at optical and X-ray wavelengths during the sunrise on the satellite:
d) a particular feature of recording when the satellite passes through the sub-auroral belt.
